The Kaduna State Government is set to host President Bola Tinubu today, Thursday as he is billed to commission various developmental projects carried out by Governor Uba Sani’s administration.
The President is expected to commission the Institute of vocational training and skills development located in Rigachikun, Soba, and Samarun Kataf.
In company of the state Governor and some key government officials, as well as many party stakeholders, President Tinubu will also commission a 300 bed hospital, 24 km Kafanchan township road, the Tudun biri road, 22 km road linking Kauru and Kubau Local Government Areas of the state.
Other projects to be commissioned include the vocational and skills training center in Tudun biri and the 100 CNG buses.
Homecoming
Kaduna state Governors’ Aide describes President Bola Tinubu’s visit to Kaduna State as homecoming for the nation’s leader who considers the State as his second home.
In a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ibraheem Musa, he assured that the President will be given a grand reception befitting a son of the soil when he arrives.
Musa disclosed that the President during his visit, will commission some legacy projects which will impact positively on the people of Kaduna State, in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda.
According to him, the projects to be commissioned include; the Institute of Vocational Training and Skills Development(IVTSD) at Rigachukun, the 300 bed Specialist Hospital and 100 CNG buses, under the Kaduna Subsidize Transport Scheme(KSTS) and other projects.
However, Musa pleaded with motorists and pedestrians alike to bear with the temporal inconvenience due to the restriction of movement around where the projects will be commissioned and the roads around Murtal Square within the metropolis where the grand reception will be held.
He called on residents of the State to come out en masse to welcome the august visitor and their leader.
