The Niger State Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NCCIMA) has completed preparations to host the 2025 Niger State Trade Fair.

The Director General of NCCIMA, Adamu Salihu, disclosed this during an interaction with journalists in Minna, the state capital.

According to Salihu, preparations began immediately after the state government granted approval for the event, and significant progress has since been made.

He noted that with the enhanced security measures put in place by the administration of Governor Umar Mohammed Bago, the trade fair is expected to be robust and attract participants from across the country.

Salihu further stated that government agencies and private companies that have expressed interest in exhibiting their products will help boost the state’s economy.

He added that the current restrictions on motorcycle and tricycle operations will not disrupt the event, as the timing of activities will allow visitors to return to their hotels safely.

He therefore urged other states to take advantage of the opportunity to showcase their products and services.

Also speaking, the President of NCCIMA, Dr. Bisi Adeniyi, commended the state government for its support in ensuring a successful event. He encouraged participants to take the fair seriously, noting that the government has put in place all necessary mechanisms to provide a conducive environment for business.

The 2025 Niger Trade Fair, themed “Commercial Agriculture as a Major Contributor to Nigeria’s GDP and Development,” is scheduled to hold from 20th to 31 May, 2025.

The event is jointly sponsored by Niger Food, BUA Group, FCTA, N-HYPPADEC, the Niger State Investment Promotion Agency (NSIPA), and the Babanna Border Development Agency.
